Magical Girl Meme

Pretty basic concept here, sometimes teenage girls have magic powers for fighting evil (or doing evil if that's how they roll) and that's just how it is. Usually it's a secret but maybe it's not?? Maybe there are also ways to get magic that don't require you to be a girl.
Who knows, it's up to you, this is a loose-concept/AU meme! Just warn for your violence/existential horror/embarrassing teenage sexual tension in the subject lines.
1. First Transformation: Surprise, you've got magic powers! And they come with a costume that you… probably like? Maybe you don't, I don't know your life.
2. Into Battle: Possibly connected to that last prompt, oh dang, there’s some kind of monster or something. Whether you’re new at this or not, you might wanna fight that before it wreaks too much havoc.
3. Confrontation: Those monsters (or disasters, or brainwashed minions, or whatever) have to be coming from somewhere. Whether it's the first time or the fiftieth, it's time for the hero(es) to come face to face with their nemesis.
4. Prep Time: Teams, whether they're good or evil, tend to work better if they have some kind of a game plan. Or maybe you can't predict your opponent's next move so you're just doing some team-building exercises, who knows.
5. Hostage Situation: Someone's been captured! Maybe the villains have taken a heroic magical girl prisoner, maybe the good guys have siccessfully captured one of their opponents, or maybe you're just a bystander/non-magical ally/love interest who… may or may not know why you've been kidnapped. It's a little awkward, but maybe this could be a good chance to talk.
6. Slice of Life: Not even magical girls can fight all the time, alright - but there's always a risk of worlds colliding. Maybe you're getting some well-deserved downtime, trying to go on a date, or just going to school like a normal teen. And… well, time will tell if it stays normal.
7. The Secret Come Out: You probably hoped this day wouldn't come (unless you were actually kind of hoping it would, like a weirdo), but here it is. Someone's found out who you are. Is it worse if they're a loved one or just some rando, who knows!
8. Wildcard: I can't tell you how to live your life, do what you want!

"....Obviously because it's my responsibility to make sure she does now..!" she manages to huff out, shaking her head. "Growing humans need meats, and grains, and vegetables, and cheese things, that one had the whole mix!"
Someone save them all from themselves,

Ginko presses her lips together, casting around another quick look to make sure they're still basically alone. "Anyway, if you need to keep someone fed, I guess I can help out - but take-out curry combos probably aren't the way to go. That could get pricey fast... do you have a microwave, or anything like that?"
no subject
As it is, she's completely thrown by that last bit. "...Micro...wave?"
no subject
...That's not a good sign. "Uh, like... a box that you put food in and it heats it up? Or, a fridge - that you. Put food in and it keeps it cool."
no subject
She seems to be missing the point, and very deliberately at that. "I...see.... ...Well! We don't have any of those right now! It's best to focus on the most important things first. Roof, food, warm things..."
This is just getting worse really.
no subject
She lets out a breath and presses one hand to her face, thinking. She can't exactly afford to singlehandedly make living and food arrangements for someone, but-- she's got to do something. And maybe the others on her team could help. "Where is she now?"
no subject
'We'?
no subject
So many questions, and, she's sure, so many confusing-ass answers.
no subject
"Bloom!!" Another familiar, resembling a pilot, comes flying up from behind the other, beaming widely...and ignorant to the expression on Bloom's now frightfully blank with irritation face. "I did it!! I found as many as the number on a nice warm coat!! 42!"
...
"...oh. ...Do they look like-"
"Shhht!!"
Bloom may be down for murder.
no subject
She turns to the newcomer, tilting her head slightly. "How many of you are looking after this girl, and do any of you know what you're doing?"
no subject
"Ehh??? Ehh? Bloom, I thought we weren't supposed to-"
"We aren't..!" she snips, tugging the other into a whispered conversation.
Or it should be whispered.
They're not really used to actually having to whisper so it's fairly audible if you focus. "They keep asking questions, but if I don't make them happy, what if they follow? We can't risk that!"
"We can't just fly the long way? Oh, and it shouldn't be that hard to get everything, and... ...well, she won't move unless we say something, I guess..."
"We don't know what this person can do! What if they can track things? What if they get them," she adds, and when Bloom says this, the pilot actually bolts back a bit.
"HIH-! I- I mean..."
no subject
She takes her cigarette in her fingers again and blows out a mouthful of smoke before replying. "I'm trying to help, y'know." Like, just in case they hadn't considered the possibility. "I'm not setting out to cause you guys trouble; I just don't like the idea of leaving some kid to freeze or starve."
no subject
"B...Bloom..."
'Bloom's fists are clenched tight as her jaw seems, and it is some time more before she does speak.
"...P...Prove it..!" she finally yelps, no longer clinging to the paper thin facade. "...Prove your 'help' isn't the same as what got us here..!" she adds, the pilot curling a bit on herself as Bloom says as much.

Well, they wait until Ginko looks away at least, but it's going to be hard to miss the backs of the two as they book it down the street. They're kind of colourful.
Not to mention unused to the risk of being followed- if Ginko keeps quiet, it'll be pretty easy to follow them to the park. The two seem to get themselves plenty distracted with yet another familiar- dressed as a witch, she's being scolded fiercely for 'playing in leaves'.
Not far from the three is some kind of play structure with a difficult to 'immediately' find entrance though...
no subject
Ginko almost protests the two familiars' sudden departure, but thinks better of it. Clearly, she wasn't going to get anything useful out of them - which means she's better off trying to work this out by herself.
Unfortunately, they're still her best leads for that, even if they don't know it.
She follows in silence, some way behind them, until they reach the park and... of course they get distracted. Shit, how many of these guys are there? At least their bickering gives her a chance to look around - and to identify the only roof around here.
She can't believe this.
Ginko edges around the side of the park, staying out of the familiars' view as well as she can, and starts searching out the entrance to the structure. If she can just get in, maybe this girl will be more reasonable than the familiars looking after her.
oops i got rid of most creeper icons
...Older teens with enough height could just stand and look up through the hole, however. And what's in there isn't much. It's rather dark- but the girl stands out significantly. First glance would say the girl is wearing scrubs- but these aren't quite hospital scrubs, not when there's a definite collar alongside it all.
She turns slowly to the sound- or even lack of sound- of the other's presence and stares, blankly and widely.
no subject
She rests her arms on the hole in the structure and stares right back, her mouth twisting thoughtfully. "...Hey."
no subject
Perhaps she's scared.
Mostly just uncertain.
no subject
"I'm not gonna hurt you or anything. Just want to make sure you're okay; I ran into one of your familiars out there." She jerks her head in the general direction of... where those three were, last time she saw them. "What's up with that, anyway?"
no subject
"W.... ...Who... ..?"
...so who the heck are you, Ginko,
no subject
"My name's Ginko. I'm a magical girl, like you. What's your name?"
no subject
One could almost say she didn't hear the other. Almost.
...She still seems afraid. Perhaps more than before. "...magic..." Deep breaths- in. Out. In-
"...She said...magic..." It almost looks like they'll get somewhere.
And then they don't. "...no." Uh oh. "...no. ....No..."
'Do you hear something Bloom?' 'What would we hear? I... ...She hasn't spoken at all since we ran...' 'But I thought I heard-'
There is a short trio of screeches from outside, which seems to line up with when Reira presses her back against the wall of the shelter. ...Still repeating 'no' under her breath.
no subject
Ginko swears under her breath, considering her options for the moment. She doesn't really have any way of avoiding the familiar squad by now, and running would just look suspicious. She doubts she's gonna be able to calm the kid down before they get here, either, and trying would probably be riskier than it's worth.
"...Sorry about that. Hang on." Decision made, she ducks out of that entrance and stands by the structure, turning to face the familiars directly - and to address them.
Perhaps weirdly, given that she followed them here to talk to their charge behind their backs, she looks kind of annoyed.
"This is the 'roof' you were talking about? This is no place to leave a kid."
no subject
And then darts past, shoving at the shoulder to get Ginko 'away' while she heads inside.
"Eh!! Bloom-!"
"Tell them nothing, I need to help her away..!"
"But, but..! It took so long to find this one..!!"
So they say, before looking to Ginko themselves. They seem just as consumed by fear as Bloom- and indeed Reira- was. The witch and pilot both nervously huddle, and gulp.
Eventually- "Y...You know, w...We're a lot more than we look..!" the pilot tries.
"Um, um...That's right..! I...We've still got things, even without real partners-!" the witch fumbles, brandishing her broom/bell.
