2. Not My Idea: Well, it wasn’t. One or both of you has been set up (or just strongarmed into this) by a third party. You’ll thank them later - or maybe never forgive them, depending on how this goes.

3. Strictly Business: This isn’t even a date, okay. Whether you’re meeting with a new coworker to discuss work or with a previously-unseen teacher to talk about your child’s future, there are professional boundaries to take into account here.
