RYSLIG AU POST

[Eventually there will probably be a picture or something here.]

This is pretty much what it sounds like; a post for messing around with the setting of that one game where everyone turns into monsters. Characters who aren't in the game, characters who ARE but with different monsters, or just scenarios that you want to play but that aren't convenient to set up - this is for all of it!

A WORD OF WARNING - As Ryslig is a horror game, there are going to be horror elements to a lot of the prompts here. Possible subjects include body horror, mind alteration, cannibalism, torture, and general violence and gore.

If you want to know more about Ryslig's monsters, the bestiary is here - and there's a navigation link at the bottom of that page if you want to know more.

PROMPTS

1. ARRIVAL - You just got here! Congratulations on your addition to monster hell island. By the way, if you were significantly non-human before, you are now, and any powers you had are gone. Have fun with that.

2. CHANGES - A month has passed since arrival and now you're turning into... something. Maybe you've been told about this place already and can guess what's happening, or maybe it's a complete surprise, but in either case you'd better get used to it fast.

3. HUNTING - Everyone's gotta eat, and unfortunately monsters gotta eat people... or other monsters. Or maybe it's the humans doing the hunting this time; after all, not all the locals are too eager to just accept their dangerous new neighbors.

4. GONE FERAL - Dying may not be permanent here, but it still has a price. Die too many times, and you may start to forget who you were before you came here; die way too many times, and as far as you're concerned you may as well never have lived anywhere but Ryslig - and you were certainly never anything but a monster.

5. BLOODY BONES (or MEMORY LOSS 2: THE LOSSENING) - The Bloody Bones, infamous monster-hunting group, may not have quite perfected the art of keeping monsters from coming back. But, when their victims do return (sometimes long after they would normally be expected to come back), they don't seem to remember anything about Ryslig. Not the peninsula itself, not the monstrous fate of those brought there, and not the people they met before.

6. WILDCARD - hit me up if you want to do something else!
